An Instant Christmas Centerpiece!

Sometimes you need an instant table centerpiece or a decoration for a bare spot that is bothering you.  You don't want to go out and buy something.  You really don't want to add another Christmas decoration to your collection.

What's the answer?

We have found some centerpieces that you probably have everything to make in your home now and they are easy and quick to put together.  

Take a look at our collection of ideas to inspire you -

1- do you have a glass hurricane, pine cones, extra ornaments, branches, or anything else you love?  Put them in the glass hurricane and if you happen to have a battery powered string of lights, add those in also!

2- have scrapbook paper laying around?  Roll it into cones and make a striking arrangement of christmas trees!

If you don't have scrapbook paper laying around, here are some links to free printable paper.  I searched high and low for ones that were simple to print from their sites.  They all lead you directly to a pdf.  Here they are -

Both of these free printable papers are from Just Peachy Designs.  You click on the image on their website and it opens up each paper as a pdf.  You click on the paper you want to copy!  You can find them here.  They offer a huge selection of printable papers, which we thank them for!!  This is a blog you are going to want to bookmark!

2. or maybe you'd be interested in some instant trees you print, cut-out, and put together with this free printable -

This is from Crafts Alcoholic Anonymous and you can find the 3 free printables here.  She has 3 links that go directly to the printable pdf.  The links to them are a little confusing so here they are - confetti dot patterndiagonal stripes, or thick stripes.  You will want to go to her post for the directions.  

3- use a platter, ornaments, and greenery to make an instant centerpiece -

4- Fill any glass container with ornaments of varying sizes to fill in the blank spaces.  It pulls it all together and makes it more substantial when put on a tray-

5- this has to be a favorite thing to do around our home -collect things you have a put them together on a tray for a center piece.  it opens up the possibilities of what you can make out of what you have!  it's a great feeling!!
