The lanolin in hair conditioner that makes your hair shine also make your car shine!! You can't help but love doing two things at once when you're washing your car--cleaning it and shining it!!
It is not a lot of fun to get all the gunk out of cup holders, especially from where the bottom meets the sides. Use a cup covered with an old sock; spray with glass or an all-purpose cleaner and twist that cup in the cup holder to get it all out!!
Put 5-10 drops of your favorite essential oil on a wooden clothespin and clip it on your air vent. You decide how strong you want the scent to be. I don't know about you, but often the manufactured ones are just too strong a scent for me!!

Reader's Digest suggests doing this: 'Make a solution of 1/4 cup household ammonia to 1-quart cold water. Gently lift the blades, and wipe both sides with a soft cloth or paper towel soaked in the solution. Then wipe the blades with a dry cloth before lowering them into place."
Here's another method that sounds easier to me. It is from Scotty Kilmer on Your Tube. You just wipe your blades with Denatured Alcohol. Go here to see his method.
