A huge thank you to Chrissi at First Home Love Life for helping us realize this will be a very useful and time-saving thing to FINALLY do!! I think most of us are in the same place - we know this would be an important thing to do, but we just never seem to get around to it.
She gives detailed steps on how she did this in her home. She punched paint chips into circles, but since I don't have a circle punch the right size I would cut them on my paper cutter into the right size to tape on. And I might use my many colors of Sharpie felt pens since that's what I have on hand. Because our summer is jam-packed, this is a fall project for me, but I am so glad she brought this project to my attention.
I love the idea of NOT HAVING TO FIGURE OUT WHAT TURNS WHAT ON AND OFF ANYMORE!!
I hope you find this useful also. Go here to see her post and customize it to fit the supplies you have on hand!!
Because the circuit board color coding idea has to do with safety and not only being organized, I found this home safety guide for your whole home. It can be downloaded to a pdf from their website you can link to under this infographic.
Have a great feeling because of DOING IT NOW!!
