Can you believe it is November and we are going from one holiday to another and then another? This is a special time of year and it would be smart to stay on top of things so your family can enjoy the meaning of the holidays and the beauty of this time of year!!

1. a thankful tree
It may look like this would be great idea for Thanksgiving day, but wouldn't it even be better to start now; have a cool decoration for your home and give everyone a chance to think about all they are thankful for long before Thanksgiving day!! It sure seems like that would add a wonderful feeling to your home all month long!!
HGTV suggests having a "Thankful Tree" where everyone can reflect on what they feel grateful for. All the instructions and thoughts for this idea that could become a family tradition are on the link.

4. a "give thanks" banner -
Wouldn't it change how you look at each new day to see this banner in your home to remind you "There is always always always something to be thankful for"!!
The pdf below gives you the letters to print and then cut out. You only need to get ribbon or twine or whatever you choose to hang it from, along with something to attach the letters! SIMPLE!!
5. a basket filled with pinecones!! You can't go wrong with that! these pinecones have a twist because some of them are bleached to create a stunning effect! mix with greenery and you're in business!!
