4- "don't eat pete!!!" -a candy eating game-
Lindsey from "The Teacher Wife" explains -
"DIRECTIONS: Place one candy heart in each square of the game board. Send the first child away from the room, and have the remaining children choose which love monster will be "Pete". Then have the first child come back and begin eating the candy hearts, one at a time. As soon as the child tries to pick up the candy heart that is on the "Pete" love monster, everyone yells, "Don't eat Pete!!!!" Refill the game board with candy hearts, and play again with the next child."
Go here to get this free printable. She makes it very simple!! Thank you Lindsey!!
5- hershey kisses matching game -
A FREE printable of Valentine designs is even provided for the bottom of the kisses. Just print, punch out, and glue on!! Kara from "Creations by Kara" has made it so easy for us all!!
You can find it here.
6- valentine fishing game -
This is from Macaroni Kid! You can find the instructions here.
There is no mention of prizes or treats. What about these ideas:
- write what candy they get to pick from a bowl on the back of the heart
- set a timer and whoever gets the most hearts in that time gets to pick a treat from a bowl
7- minute to win it heart stack -
Set the timer - 3-2-1- who can build the tallest tower?
8- minute to win it maze -
This is from "raising our kids". There is a print button above the maze picture that leads you to the printable. You can find it here.
9- minute to win it - outline the MAZE heart above with conversation heart candies -
2 games is 1- after they have found their way through the maze, give everyone some conversation hearts and set the timer - 3-2-1- who can outline the heart the fastest!!
The photo above is from RoomMomSpot. You can find more games with conversation heart candy here.
10- musical hearts-
You can either buy a big pack of foam hearts or cut out your own from paper.
In the version to the link below, there are things to do printed on the back of the hearts that the children do when the music stops. If you don't have enough room for that, when the music stops, call out a color of a heart and whoever stops on that color gets to pick a treat!
This is from Teach Mama.
